Hello,

Im in desperate need of help with financing my cat’s upcoming surgery.

If you know me, I absolutely hate having to resort to things like asking for financial help, but I have to try to save my little guy.

His name is Oreo (4y/o) and one of the best cats I’ve ever owned. He’s kind, patient and gentle with my daughter and to any other kind of animals. I’ve never had a cat that was willing to be friends with everyone he comes across, including dogs. He likes begging to go outside to explore my yard and see some of the neighbor cats whenever my daughter gets home from school. He’s easily my kiddos favorite animal and I would do anything to get him better.

To start off, he’s currently struggling to urinate. We’ve had to take him to an emergency vet an hour away from my house last year in July for a blocked urethra and I fear that it’s flaring back up again. I’m a single dad and I’m still paying off his previous vet visit on top of taking care of a couple other cats and a rescue German shepherd. He’s having issues urinating, showing signs of inflammation, and throwing up his food. Since his vet visit last year, we’ve changed his water source to a fountain with constant flowing water, an automatic cat litter box, and been giving more wet food in his diet.

My daughter is a huge animal lover and Oreo is easily her favorite since he is the only cat that tolerates it when you pick him up (even though he hates it, he wouldn’t ever scratch you to get out of being picked up). I love this little guy too since he always comes to sleep with one of us at night, without fail. Even in his emergency vet visit last year, he was kind to the nurses and quickly became a favorite amongst them.

Unfortunately, I’m not able to throw this next visit onto my CareCredit account since I don’t have much of a balance left with it. I’m still paying off his account and he will need another visit soon. Any amount of help would mean the world and I would like to keep everyone on the loop of his progress on here if possible. I greatly appreciate it if you’ve read this far into our story, and hope we can get the help in time for our little buddy.
