This is Oreo. He's a domesticated short hair, 5 years old. We found Oreo roaming in our backyard. He has been loving and affectionate since the moment we found him. He enjoys cuddling in a nice warm blanket and looking out the windows. He's very calm and sweet and has always been very inviting to anyone he comes in contact with.

Oreo has polyps in his right ear that need to be surgically removed. It causes him terrible ear infections and abscesses. They become very itchy and smell putrid. We call him our little cheesy cat. I don't normally ask for help. As his owner, I try my best to take care of him and provide him a loving home from what he's accustomed to. Oreo has lived half of his life outside. His previous owner was neglectful and always left him outside. Oreo would come back wounded every time because he's a very sweet cat who often got torn apart by the other neighborhood street cats. Every time he would stumble into my yard, I would take care of him the best I possibly could. One day, his previous owner decided to move away and left Oreo behind. That's when I took him in, and he's become a part of our family.

We are asking that any donation towards his surgery cost and recovery will be greatly appreciated. Every dollar will go towards helping him live a much more comfortable life so that the polyps don't spread. It has caused him serious ear infections, breathing complications, and his quality of life has declined because of the lack of medical care he had from his previous owner. Oreo has become a certified emotional support animal because of how lovable and sweet he is. He is a little gentle soul that anyone would fall in love with because of how caring he actually is. He's helped my own child as well as myself during tough times in our lives. He's provided us with nothing but unconditional love.
