Onyx is being released! But we’re still do outpatient care. He looks so much better, is feeling much better and is finally eating! He’s finally using the restroom! We still have to monitor him very closely just in case he has to go to a specialist. We are at $5,000 in medical bills so far, not including the medication they’re sending home and medication they’re administering before he goes home, so anything you can donate is still very much appreciated. Onyx couldn’t do it without you.*

Onyx had to come to Ft Worth to see if they can perform the endoscopy, or if they have to open him up for surgery. They are doing everything they possibly can to help him.*

Onyx has to go to Lubbock TX to get an endoscopy to see what is lodged in his intestines, and to remove it. They are really trying to avoid surgically opening him up.*

Hello! Onyx is 2 years old and is a Maine Coon mix. Onyx got very sick out of nowhere - he wasn’t eating, drinking water, no bowel movements, he was vomiting and sleeping all day in the same spot and never moving. We took him to the emergency vet to find out he’s clinically dehydrated, and they need to keep him overnight to run tests, do X-rays, and check his kidneys, pancreas, and liver. While they were doing this, they came across two different blockages in his digestive tract, which is what could be causing the issues. Because of what it could be, they need to run more tests to see how blocked it is, what they need to do, and if they need to perform surgery. They are keeping him for 24-hour observation, he is on IV fluids, a catheter, and still undergoing many tests.

I had to take out a loan of $3,000 because I do not have funds to pay for a vet bill. I have already used $2,300 of the $3,000. With the way things are going, and the tests they have to keep taking to help my cat, the price keeps racking up.

Anything helps; it all goes to Onyx and his vet bills, and to help him and all his medical needs. We greatly appreciate it if you donate, even if it’s just a few dollars.
