Hello, my name is Chris and I am the founder of Only Maine Coons Rescue.

We currently have close to 40 cats in foster care.

We have a few with BIG medical needs.

Our most important right now is baby Lavander.

1. Lavander is a 13-week-old MC mix kitten. She went to the vet on 7-15-26 for routine vaccines and a combo test when the tech noticed her labored breathing. An x-ray showed a lot of fluid in her belly, totally covering all of her organs. The vet drained a lot of the fluid and provided oxygen to stabilize her. Once she was stable, I rushed her to the hospital where she would get more specialized care. We were looking at HCM or FIP. She was diagnosed with FIP this afternoon. Her estimate at this point is $5k + future meds. I do not know how we are going to pay this. She is currently still in the hospital. We are concerned about the fluid building back up while we wait for the meds to arrive and then take effect.

2. Pandora- age 1. She needs ear polyp removal surgery. She is going on Monday for a surgical consult and estimate for surgery. It could cost up to $5k.

3. Walker- Baby Walker age 11 weeks had emergency eye removal surgery 2 weeks ago. She is recovering well, but we have a $2500.00 vet bill that needs to be paid.
