Hello, my name is Lawson, and I want to share the story of my friend and brother in Christ, Onésimo Suárez Marte—“Ony.”

We met recently, and from the very beginning, it felt like I had found the brother I never had. From 1.5-hour-long translating conversations to learning guitar side-by-side, doing dishes, worshiping, and praying together—God formed a bond that only He can create.

Ony’s Testimony:

Ony was born with a cleft palate and could barely speak. At 12 years old, he had a surgery and lost nearly all his blood—twice. While lying in a hospital bed, sure he was about to die, God spoke to him:

“No—you’re not going to die, because I will use you just as you are and take you to the nations.”

Years later, facing another surgery that could have fixed his speech but taken away his ability to sing, Ony made a bold decision:

He chose to sing for God.

That act of obedience became his calling. He now sings, shares his testimony, and glorifies the Lord in every place God leads him.

Our Mission:

I want to bring Ony to worship and testify at churches here in North Carolina and New York City—so others can hear what God has done through him and experience God’s presence through his music.

Every dollar raised will go directly to:

• Travel expenses (flights, local transport)

• Basic accommodation and meals

• Any needs he may have during his stay

This isn’t just about getting someone here—it’s about bringing a living testimony of God’s faithfulness and power into rooms that need encouragement, healing, and hope.
