Support Miguel Rodriguez (Ome Pache) A Beloved Community Artist Facing Cancer

For over 14 years, Miguel Rodriguez, also known as Ome Pache, has been a vibrant force in our community. His incredible artwork adorns the walls of our neighborhoods, schools, and public spaces, bringing color, culture, and inspiration to all who see it. As a passionate artist and community leader, Ome has dedicated his life to preserving Indigenous traditions through his art especially with his beautiful Mesoamerican flutes and his indigenous-inspired clay creations. He has touched countless lives by empowering local youth through workshops, sharing his knowledge, and nurturing creativity.

Now, Ome faces a serious health battle. On May 28, 2025, after a clinic visit, he was urgently sent to the ER where doctors discovered testicular cancer. He underwent surgery and was diagnosed with nonseminoma testicular cancer. Currently, Ome is undergoing further tests and has a challenging five-year treatment plan ahead.

This community artist has given so much to us through his talent, leadership, and dedication. Now it is our turn to support him during this difficult time. We are aiming to raise $10,000 to help cover medical expenses, treatments, and the financial burdens that come with this journey.
