Support Omar's Journey to Safety

Hi there. My name is Jewelia, and I am organizing this campaign from Chicago, IL, for my friend Omar Ishaq who lives in Gaza.

In Gaza, Omar has faced losing loved ones, starvation, living under bombardment, losing his university, watching loved ones fall ill due to poor circumstances, and so much more. Leaving us with the looming thought that the only viable option for survival would be to leave Gaza. 

Previously, your donations have helped sustain life for Omar and his family. from food and water, to clothing and warmth, to an entire tent, your support has provided Omar and his family with everything that they need to survive. additionally, we have successfully been able to cover about 50% of the cost to reserve a seat for Omar to travel abroad so they he can support his family while residing outside of a war stricken Gaza.

This campaign will solely be to raise the remaining amount of Omar’s travel fees in the event of the borders opening. the costs presently for an adult to leave Gaza are around $5,000 per person. I ask for your generosity, your kindness, and your compassion, as i plead for your support of Omar Ishaq, yet again.

Due to limitations around supporting humans in Gaza, Omar receives his donations per his requests via Paypal. From paypal, donations are then transferred to omar’s bank account through a world bank account holder, where he then receives cash in hand from a person who houses large amounts of cash in Gaza.
