Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to share something very difficult and personal. I have been diagnosed with a serious heart condition (thoracic aortic aneurysm) that requires urgent surgery. My doctors have explained that this procedure is necessary to protect my health and give me the chance to live a full life.

Unfortunately, this surgery cannot be performed in Puerto Rico due to its complexity, and I must go to the United States. The cost of the surgery, the trip, medications, and recovery is more than I can manage on my own. Even with insurance and personal savings, the remaining expenses are overwhelming.

For this reason, I have created a GoFundMe page and am humbly asking for your support. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. If you cannot donate, sharing the fundraiser or keeping me in your thoughts and prayers would also mean so much to me.

Queridos amigos, familiares y personas de buen corazón,

Espero se encuentren bien. Hoy les escribo para compartir algo muy difícil y personal. Me han diagnosticado una seria condición del corazón (aneurisma aortica torácica) que requiere una cirugía urgente. Los médicos me han explicado que este procedimiento es necesario para proteger mi salud y darme la oportunidad de seguir adelante con mi vida.

Lamentablemente, esta operación no puede ser realizada en Puerto Rico por lo compleja y riesgosa que es. Por tal motivo tendría que trasladarme a los Estados Unidos para realizarla la misma. El costo de la cirugía, el viaje, los medicamentos y la recuperación es más de lo que puedo manejar con mis recursos económicos. Aun con seguro y ahorros personales, los gastos restantes son muy altos.

Por esta razón, he creado esta página de GoFundMe. Humildemente les pido su apoyo. Cualquier contribución—grande o pequeña—hará una diferencia importante. Si no pueden donar, compartir la campaña o mantenerme en sus pensamientos y oraciones también significaría mucho para mí.
