Hello Everyone!

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Omar Roig - and my life has been turned upside down in a matter of a few months. I haven’t been sick for many, many years and stupid me always had the mentality that if it ain’t broke, why fix it. I was home and I couldn’t get rid of this hacking cough. I wanted to make it to the doctor in the morning, but I guess my wife called the ambulance.

When I awoke about 3 weeks later, they told me I had double pneumonia, MRSA, and all these ailments. I recovered from pneumonia and MRSA, but now I had 2 large growths on either side of my neck.

The doctor says stage 4 throat cancer. I’m here at Trinitas Regional Medical Hospital waiting for supplies to bring home with me, like feeding liquid and oxygen. Once all this is set up, maybe tomorrow, I can schedule 1 round of radiation next week.

I’m not asking for miracles but anything helps. I promise to keep everyone posted and I promise to pay it forward.
