My brother Omar and I have always shared a close bond. He’s the kind of person who is always there for others—he’s helped me with my children countless times and has shown kindness and support to everyone around him. Now, Omar is facing one of the toughest challenges of his life, and I want to do everything I can to support him, just as he’s always supported me.
Recently, Omar was diagnosed with seminoma cancer, which has unfortunately spread to his lymph nodes. He underwent surgery last week and is still recovering from an orchiectomy. In just two weeks, he will begin an intensive chemotherapy regimen that will last at least 12 weeks. This means chemotherapy five days a week—four days in Omak and one day in Wenatchee. He will also need another surgical procedure to place a catheter for his treatment. Because of the demanding schedule and the toll on his body, Omar will not be able to work during this time, and possibly for some time after treatment ends.
The funds raised here will go directly to Omar to help cover his travel expenses, medical and treatment costs, bills, and groceries. With your support, Omar can focus on healing and recovery without the added stress of financial worries. We are grateful if you are able to help, with anything! Even a share would mean the world to us. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my brother’s story and for considering supporting him during this difficult journey.
