What Happened

Omar, a Canadian citizen, was in Vietnam on a consulting assignment when tragedy struck. On November 13, 2024, while returning home, he collapsed in a taxi. Thanks to the quick action of the driver, he was rushed to Vinmec International Hospital and admitted into intensive care. Since then, he has been unconscious, relying on life support and round-the-clock critical care.

The cost of this care is overwhelming. As of November 18, 2024, Omar’s medical expenses have already surpassed $50,000 USD, with daily costs ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 USD. These are not just numbers—they represent the price of saving a life, and immediate help is essential to ensuring that his treatment can continue uninterrupted.
