Help Me Rebuild My Photography Career After Losing My Camera
Hi, my name is Omar, and I’m a photographer and visual creator based in California. Photography and video are not just my passion—they are my main source of income and the way I support myself and continue building my dreams.
Recently, I went through a very difficult situation. My backpack was stolen from my home, and inside it was my professional camera and my Sony lenses—everything I rely on to create, work, and provide for myself. These weren’t just objects… they were my tools, my livelihood, and years of investment in my craft.
I already filed a police report and I’m working through the insurance process, but replacing this equipment will take time, and right now I’m limited in the type of work I can produce. As a creator, this setback directly impacts my ability to generate income and continue growing my business.
Even through this, I’m staying positive and continuing to create with what I have—my Insta360 and my phone—but it’s not the same level I’ve worked so hard to achieve for my clients and my brand.
That’s why I’m reaching out for support.
My goal is to raise funds to replace my professional camera and at least one essential lens so I can get back to work at full capacity. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to rebuilding what was taken and continuing to do what I love.
If you’ve ever supported my work, believed in my vision, or simply want to help me get back on my feet, I would truly appreciate your support.
Even sharing this campaign helps more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for being part of my journey.
— Omar
