My beloved friend of well over 25 years, Olutosin Ahmed Sobowale, was diagnosed with an aggressive and rare form of cancer called osteosarcoma — a diagnosis that has turned his world, and that of his family, upside down, just a few months after he relocated to the United States with his family. It has been a relentless battle we have been facing alone for almost 2 years.

Olutosin is not just a man battling cancer — he’s a devoted husband, a loving father, and a beautiful soul who has touched the lives of everyone around him with his kindness, humility, and strength. He’s the kind of person who shows up for others without hesitation — now it’s our turn to show up for him.

Osteosarcoma is a relentless and challenging disease that often requires intense chemotherapy, surgery, and months — if not years — of recovery. The financial strain of treatment, time away from work, and everyday living expenses is overwhelming.
