11/03/25 UPDATE: I took Ollie to her Dr appointment today and Dr Shih hospitalized her and started dialysis. I had to pay $1,000.00 as a deposit to get started. A non profit is paying $500.00. Dr. Shih is working with me the best he can with the cost. Please continue to pray for our Ollie Buggs! We are still in need of approximately $3,000-$4,000.00. The dialysis is being broken down into 3 so I have time to come up with the remaining payment. Any donation amount helps it all adds up. We understand everyone doesn’t have money to donate, please share Ollie’s go fund me with your family & friends. Thank you ♥️
10/30/25 UPDATE: We picked Ollie up from the hospital this evening. She has to have dialysis to live. We go back Monday to check Ollie’s kidney levels and give the Dr a decision on the dialysis. The Dr feels he could get her numbers close to normal and she could live a good & quality life. We have to do it soon because the numbers are still sitting too high because of the infection. The longer they stay high the more damage they do. Please help!!!
10/29/25 UPDATE: The Dr and I decided to go ahead and put in an E Tube today so we can primary feed Ollie her Kidney food and give meds through it. Ollie will still be able to eat and drink on her own also. It will not hinder her daily activities (except swimming in a pool or lake but it’s almost winter time anyway). So Ollie will be spending an additional night in the hospital. We are in desperate need of prayers, donations & shares.
10/28/25 UPDATE:
Ollie has been admitted to the hospital, she has acute pancreatitis or a bad intestinal infection. She was in severe pain. She could barely get up and walk by the time they took her back to admit her.
Good news is her kidney medicine is working, it has stopped her from losing proteins. However, her kidney values did go up two points most likely due to the infection.
We just paid $2,008.00 as a deposit. I will have to pay another $1,000.00 at least tomorrow (or when I pick her up). She will most likely need to stay 2 nights. So the estimated amount was calculated at 1 night so I wouldn’t have to pay a larger deposit.
Keeping it honest, this was our bill money I was paying out on Wednesday. So if anyone can donate any amount I would greatly appreciate it, if you can’t please pray for our sweet girl.
and share. Thank you ♥️

10/03/25 We were able to bring Ollie home yesterday evening. Dr Shih was able to get her kidney levels to 62 from 177 the day she was admitted!!! She has 5 meds we have to give her twice a day. She goes back Tuesday to check her blood panels, urine, & ultrasound. Depending on the results she may have to do another aggressive kidney flush & medication push, dialysis or the result we are praying for is that her levels will be the same as when she was released yesterday evening. This Dr and these treatments are extremely expensive, however they are worth it because they are saving Ollie’s life. We have exhausted all our funds and we need your help. Thank you for any amount that you can donate.
Our 6 yr old staffie was diagnosed with acute chronic kidney disease back in June. She has been under the care of UGA veterinary teaching hospital since July. Our sweet Ollie girls kidney levels were very high, the next step was dialysis. UGA does not perform dialysis on dogs so I found a Dr in marietta Ga. Once I spoke to him he told me to bring her in right away. I took her there yesterday morning and she has been hospitalized since. Her numbers fell from 177 to 77 over 1 night which is excellent. Dr Shih wanted to keep her one more night to see if we could get her levels back to 65. My husband and I have already spent a little over $4,000 since July taking her back & forth to UGA. Yesterday when she was admitted to Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency I paid a deposit of $2,178.58.
We are in desperate need of approximately $3,500.00 to finish Ollies treatment and bring her home tomorrow.
ollie’s prognosis is very good once this procedure is finished. Her right kidney does have some scar tissue which will never work again, however she has a healthy fully functional left kidney.
Please pray for our girl! She’s extremely special to our family.
Any donation amount would be appreciated!
