My name is Ollie McBain and I'm a passionate cinematographer, director, and storyteller from Boston, MA. Anyone who knows me will tell you I've wanted to create in the film industry from as far back as I can remember. As a senior at the University of Connecticut, I'm currently working on my Senior Capstone Project which will showcase a culmination of all of the skills I've learned as a filmmaker over the past 8+ years. It features Cole, an 19 year old high school senior from an abusive low-income household with few opportunities , and Erin, a 18 year old high school senior from the suburbs, on track to be valedictorian of her class. The two meet by a chance encounter, and Erin gets her car stolen which sends them on a chaotic night to get it back. Throughout the time spent together, they realize they have more in common than they may think and the experience leaves them both changed and questioning their future. This film is about the uncertainty of growing up, and how one person can change our perspective on the life we think we know. This project will be the biggest film I've worked on yet, and I'd be more than happy if you helped me bring this vision to the screen.
