Olivia, our 9+ year old beautiful Yorkie, has been diagnosed with skin cancer. Michael and I are absolutely devastated. Especially knowing we can’t cover her full treatment to remove a large mast cell tumor on her leg.
Those that know her know she’s a fighter. 2 pregnancies AND arthritis yet she still tries running to us when she hears our keys in the door. She birthed five… yes, five boys. She was an alley dog when I found her in 2017 before I left to college. Since then, she’s lived in 10 different homes, seen Michael and I graduate twice, gone through so many versions of our lives, and has always been a huge part of the light and love in every room . Her strength and resilience is beautiful.
This news has hit Michael and I hard. She’s our baby. Every city we moved to, every milestone, she’s been a part of. When Michael was at college, she was with me. When I was in Seattle for grad school, she was with Michael. She’s been the glue, she’s been everything. We are hoping that she sees us marry and have kids.
She’s our girl. So we ask for your help. As you know, pet care is VERY expensive. We have maxed out our Cherry Pet Card. We are asking for donations to help us move forward with her surgery. Anything at all helps! The money will go to her surgery and recovery.
We appreciate your help from the bottom of our hearts. Even if it’s just to share/ send a message.
Eriza & Michael
