Hello! My name is Olivia Bien Aime, and I’m studying to become an elementary school teacher. I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to complete my student teaching in Belize through my university.

This trip will allow me to learn from Belizean students and teachers, explore new teaching styles, and grow into a more culturally responsive educator for my future classroom.

During my time in Belize, I will be teaching in local schools, collaborating with teachers, and engaging with diverse communities. This experience will help me build the skills I need to connect with all types of learners, especially students from different backgrounds and cultures.

Beyond the classroom, I will have the chance to experience Belize’s rich culture, nature, and community life. I hope to bring those lessons back home, not just stories but new ways to make learning meaningful for every child I teach.
