April is such a beautiful and heartbreaking month for me. On April 23, 2017, my daughter, Olivia Lynn Proudfit, was born an angel. In honor of my sweet girl and to celebrate her upcoming 9th heavenly Birthday I am hoping to raise money for supplies for our bereavement program at HealthPark Hospital in Fort Myers, FIorida where I work as a Labor & Delivery Nurse. The boxes we provide are filled with keepsakes that signify love and compassion from one loss mama to other loss parents. This year I would also like to be able to give some families weighted bears so that they always have something to hold on to the weight of their baby. I know what it's like to leave the hospital with empty arms. I also want to focus on making custom bracelets, and bereavement carts with supplies for the families, and the siblings. I also want to bring these items to the local Emergency departments. My hope is that the items will provide a little bit of joy during such immense grief. It is my wish that you will help me honor Olivia by donating to my mission to provide these special items to parents.
