Support Olivia's Fight Against Hepatic Adenomatosis

Dear friends and family,
With Olivia’s permission, I am sharing my daughter’s story. On Christmas Eve 2024, my newly married youngest daughter Olivia was diagnosed with Hepatic Adenomatosis, a condition that grows tumors in her liver. This condition was caused by an extremely rare side effect of hormonal birth control. Upon initial diagnosis, her liver had over 30 tumors, the largest was 14cm.
Within months of her diagnosis, one of her tumors grew to be 16cm and took up a large portion of her right lobe. Her smaller tumors numbered over 60. After months of visits from her home in Montana to the wonderful doctors at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, her team of 61 hepatic doctors, surgeons, and oncologists decided the best steps toward healing and a better quality of life was to perform a Hepatectomy. The surgery removed the largest tumor of 16.2 cm which could have resulted in a fatal rupture. The liver resection which removed 60% of her liver including her entire right lobe and gall bladder was performed at Mayo on September 16, 2025. We are hoping this surgery will delay/avoid a liver transplant.
Once her liver regrows in 6 months, Olivia will undergo a second procedure on her left lobe to try to repair her 5cm tumor along with 20 more smaller ones.

This condition will be a lifelong struggle. There is no cure. She and her husband are just starting out. Her medical bills are over $180,000 and climbing. That’s not including her travel and hotel stays in Rochester. She has medical insurance, but we all know it doesn’t come close to paying all her expenses.
Please consider donating to this fund. All monies she will receive goes straight to medical and travel expenses.
I know times are tough. If giving a cash donation isn’t an option, please continue praying for Olivia and her husband Peter as they continue this difficult fight.
Thank you being there for them.
