Our sweet 2-year-old niece Olivia was recently diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, stage 3. At an age when she should be playing with toys and chasing bubbles, she is instead facing hospital rooms, procedures, and treatments no child should ever have to endure.

If you know her, you know she is loving, strong-willed, sassy, and full of energy. She lights up every room. She has the biggest personality in the tiniest body. And that same fierce little spirit is what we are holding onto right now.

Since her diagnosis, she has already faced more than most adults ever will — tests, procedures, surgery, port placement, lab work, and the beginning of treatment. Her estimated 42 week journey followed my a 6 month maintenance will include ongoing treatments of chemo and radiation, frequent hospital visits, and long days that no toddler should have to endure.

Through it all, she continues to show strength beyond her tiny body.

Her parents are staying by her side every step of the way, exactly where they should be, but that also means time away from work and growing medical and travel expenses.

We are asking for help to ease that burden so they can focus fully on being Mom and Dad during this fight. Funds will go directly to parents toward medical costs, travel, meals, lost wages, and daily household needs while she undergoes treatment.

More than the financial help, your support reminds us that they are not alone. It gives their family strength on the hardest days and peace during sleepless nights.
