Our dear Olivia recently received news that no family should ever have to hear - she has been diagnosed with lymphoma (a form of blood cancer) after doctors discovered a tumor in her brain. We are grateful that scans show the cancer has not spread to other parts of her body. Unfortunately, her vision has been significantly impacted by the tumor, limiting what she is able to do to pass the time during her recovery. She had just started Cosmetology school prior to her diagnosis and has had to put that on hold.

Olivia is receiving excellent care at Children's Hospital Anschutz in Aurora, where her medical team is working tirelessly to fight this aggressive disease. Though she's been able to spend time at home between treatments, her journey will be long and challenging. Her parents have had numerous stays in Denver and will continue this exhausting routine for many months to come.

As Olivia and her family face this unimaginable challenge, they shouldn't have to worry about mounting medical bills and travel expenses on top of everything else. The financial burden of inpatient hospital stays, specialized treatments, missed work, and ongoing care is overwhelming for any family.
