A Great Year
I'm proud to report that 2025 was my best year yet as a theater maker in New York! I collaborated with so many talented artists and made work that I'm really proud of. (You can read more about my work here .)
Rising Costs
And in 2025, as we've all felt, everything—including theater—got more expensive. I use all of the money that I make doing theater gigs (plus some that I make at my day job) to fund my theater projects. While this system has worked well for me over the last year, I've seen how quickly my modest funds get used up.
Higher Production Values
Over this next year, I'll continue to elevate the quality, professionalism, and artistry of my theater projects, working with more established artists on larger-scale projects with bigger budgets. The largest expenses in these budgets come from paying actors and renting performance space.
Support My Projects in 2026
So, I would be so thankful for a boost of support to help me bring these projects to life. If you're able to give, I would be grateful for a donation of any amount.
Below I've included the budget from a 29-hour workshop that I recently directed and produced. These workshops typically cost around $3,250-3,500. Your donation is essential to making each of my projects happen.
Thank You!
Thank you for your support of the work that I've made and that I will make in collaboration with my fellow artists—and that I hope you'll get to see!—in 2026.
With gratitude,
Olivia
