My name is Olivia Terry. I am a 16 yr-old high school junior raising $10k to be a foreign exchange student with the Rotary Youth Exchange for a year, starting in the summer of 2026.

I am excited to say I have completed my initial interviews and have been accepted into the Rotary Youth Exchange! The program coordinates the search to find a place for me to stay and covers room & board and school fees. I am thankful and grateful for the help of Rotary on this adventure.

I will stay with two host families and attend a local high school for a year. But it’s early in the process and I don’t know exactly which country I’m headed for yet. I’m not picky, I just want to go out and see the world.

Rotary’s help is substantial, but my parents and I are still responsible for the cost of airfare, insurance, government fees, etc. which is a flat fee of $10k through the exchange program.

I am saving the money I make from my retail job and we have several local fundraisers in the works. My family is chipping in what they can, but it’s a lot of money for us to come up with. If you’re able, I would be very grateful if you could help me meet my goal with a donation!
