Hi everyone,

My name is Olivia Redmond, and I’m a nursing student at Texas Tech with a deep passion for global health and community service. I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to travel to Cusco, Peru for three weeks as part of a study abroad program focused on providing medical care to underprivileged communities in the region.

During this time, I’ll be working alongside local healthcare professionals and fellow students to offer basic medical support, health education, and compassionate care to individuals in remote towns who often lack access to essential healthcare services. This experience will not only help me grow as a future nurse but also allow me to give back in a meaningful way.
