Olivia Rebboah has been a faithful friend of mine for 30 years. She has recently experienced an unexpected medical journey that has left her family having to make drastic changes to their lifestyle. Below is Olivia’s story written by her:
Thank you for visiting and for lifting me up in prayer during this unexpected season.
As many of you know, the surgery on August 4th did not go as planned. What was supposed to be a routine procedure quickly turned into something much more serious, with multiple complications, a second surgery that led to an extended hospital stay. After 8 days in the hospital, I am now at Craig Hospital, beginning a rehabilitation program focused on healing and rebuilding—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
This journey has not been easy, but I’m trusting in God’s presence every step of the way. I may not understand the “why,” but I know the One who walks with me through every valley. His grace has sustained me, and I believe He is still writing a story of hope and purpose through this experience.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Your love, prayers, and encouragement mean more than words can say.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” —Psalm 46:
The Rebboah family is having to remodel their entire downstairs in order to accommodate Olivia during her season of healing and recovery. They need ramps installed in their front yard and garage, a wheelchair-accessible shower and bedroom on their first floor. They will also need to purchase a new wheelchair-accessible car so Olivia can continue to care for and be there for the needs of her three beautiful children!
With all this new change and transitions, we would love to ask for your support whether that be financially, spiritually, or physically!
Please help us love on the sweet Rebboah family who has been servant-hearted leaders in their community for decades!
