Support Olivia Peters: Donate for Medical Cost
Donation protected
Hello friends and family,
Unfortunately, on August 8th, Tommy and Kim Peters' 13 year old daughter Olivia found herself in the hospital expressing a lack of feeling in the right side of her body and inability to speak ultimately leading her to an urgent life flight from the hospital in Tillamook to Randall's Children Hospital in Portland, OR. At this time, Olivia has undergone multiple brain surgeries and is still fighting to overcome the struggles related to her initial injury that we now know was an Arteriovenous Malformations or AVM hemorrhage.
Currently, Olivia is showing great resiliency and continues to prove extremely hopeful. Her road to recovery will be difficult and likely long with her parents expecting to support her in the hospital for the foreseeable future and then after that her condition may result in the need for mobility assistance tools such as a wheel chair, and with that, the need for life style and home changes to support Olivia's new needs. This equipment may not be covered by insurance but would greatly increase the quality of life and care for both Olivia and her family if the need arises.
We are asking on behalf of Olivia's family for any donations, prayers, and support to help ease the cost of the treatments not covered by insurance, as well as the family's travel, accommodations, and long term expenses related to Olivia's evolving needs.
As mentioned the recovery will likely take some time and as such anything donated will be greatly appreciated.
Lastly, an anonymous donor has offered to match donations made in support of Olivia up to a total of $2,500. Tommy and Kim would like to add that funds not spent on behalf of Olivia will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House, an organization that has helped house and take care of the Peters family as they take care of Olivia.
On behalf of everyone rooting and praying for Olivia, we thank you so much for your support!
