Hesci (Hello)

My name is Olivia Camfield. I am a Mvskoke Creek artist and filmmaker. I have recently been accepted into the Milton Avery Moving Image program at Bard College where I will be pursuing my MFA. This will be my first time attending higher education, and I am asking for financial help to cover the cost of living while I am in school this year. I received the Dean's Opportunity Scholarship, which will cover full tuition, but not room and board or living expenses. I am trying to raise enough money to pay for my cost of living while in school this year. While I will maintain a part-time job during my breaks between sessions, I will need help covering the lost income while I am in class.

This is a life-changing opportunity for me. I chose to pursue my MFA to gather the necessary resources available to me through higher education to pursue career opportunities in the future that would greatly benefit my family, my community, and myself. I am grateful for my community who has supported me throughout my life, and I am ready to take this step to develop the tools so I can practice that reciprocity.
