Lily & David's two-year-old chihuahua mix Olive was brutally attacked by a large dog resulting in damage to her abdominal wall. Emergency surgery repaired the damaged areas and muscle tissue as well as saved the health of her other organs. Olive spent 2.5 days at the ER vet clinic before she was able to return home. Her care plan includes a feeding tube, a drainage tube, five prescriptions, a carefully monitored diet, and multiple warm compresses a day.

While she's on the mend, it was an incredible trauma to her small body and their family has a long healing journey ahead of them. (Lily sustained significant hand injuries in the attack too!)

We (Lily and David's friends) are asking for contributions toward their medical bills for Olive. Any donation, big or small, is incredibly generous and greatly appreciated.
