Support Oliver: Surgery and Rent Relief

Hi friends! Thank you to everyone taking the time to read this and for considering helping me out. For anyone who doesn't know, my name is Oliver Davis and I'm a 30 year old non-binary sex worker living and working in New York City! In September of 2024, I had a major, medically necessary surgery that helped improve my overall quality of life, but also left me with limited capacity for work for the rest of 2024. I should have made this fundraiser prior to my surgery, but I stubbornly believed that I would somehow make it work by myself since there are always many people in need and well-deserving of the limited resources our community has to share. I'm posting this for full transparency of my current financial situation which has come to an incredibly desperate point. My bank account has been over drafted 5 times in the last 2 weeks and the industry that I work in has been incredibly slow the past month (which I'm sure anyone else who works in nightlife/bars can understand). I need to get my head above water and catch up on my rent and bills so that I don't jeopardize the housing security of myself and my roommates and can hopefully stop being hounded by debt collectors at every hour of the day. Please consider donating anything you have to spare as every single bit helps. As I'm writing this, my bank account is overdrafted by $86 (not including a pending $35 fee). I still haven't been able to pay rent for January and February rent's due date is fast-approaching. I've been utilizing buy-sell-trades to clean out my closet just to keep my account in the positive and bought a MetroCard and groceries with those earnings last week, but there's no way I'm going to be able to get out of this hole on my own with anything short of a miracle. I'm happy to provide any proof of my current situation, the surgery I had, etc. if anyone needs to see those to feel comfortable making a donation. I'm incredibly grateful to anyone who has even taken the time to read this, and I sincerely hope no one ever finds themself in this position, though I know all too many of us do despite working multiple jobs and doing everything we can to make ends meet.

TL;DR- I'm past due on rent and several bills and my bank account is overdrafted. I'm trying to raise enough to get me out of this hole and to the end of February when my second job will pick back up and hopefully the SW industry will finally be more lucrative again.
