My sons, Oliver and Sebastian, are everything I have ever dreamed of and more. When they were babies, they seemed perfect to me. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. But after a few years, some things were not clicking. Then, When Oliver was 3 and Sebastian was 18 months old, I was told they both had autism.
It’s been a devastating and challenging time to say the least, dealing with speech delays, sensory disorders, negative behaviors, social and academic development, but through the years, in spite of their diagnosis, I have seen their enormous potential in these amazing kiddos.
The most difficult part of autism is that there is not a specific guide on what can be done to help these children and their parents. Autism research has been a top priority in the last 10 years, considered by many to be an epidemic affecting 1 in 54 of our children and the future or our society.
My job as their mom has always been to try and find ways to increase their potential and well-being. All of these years, I have been diligent with therapies and different specialists, and I never stopped researching, studying, and collaborating with friends in the community who are facing similar challenges.
Now than Sebastian and Oliver are older (11 and 9), I’m finally ready and have designed a care plan that I'm confident will turn their life around and also our life as a family.
Unfortunately, most of these natural, drug-free solutions are not covered by insurance. We live in a society where the only acceptable health care is through medicine, but traditional medicine does not focus on the root of the problem or the body-mind-soul as a whole.
My plan includes chiropractor, functional medicine, and brain stimulation techniques. The first part of my health plan will last about 7 months with a total of at least $16,000 and is beyond my budget. This treatment has the potential to give my boys the future and opportunities that they so well deserve.
Any help would make a great difference for us, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Mis hijos, Oliver y Sebastian, son todo lo que siempre soñé y más. Cuando eran bebés, al principio no me daba cuenta, me parecían perfectos. Pero después de unos años, algunas cosas no encajaban. Cuando Oliver tenía 3 años y Sebastian 18 meses, me dijeron que tenían autismo.
Ha sido un momento devastador y desafiante, por decir lo menos, pero también me ha demostrado que incluso con ese diagnóstico, ahí están, estos niños increíbles con un potencial enorme.
La parte más difícil del autismo es que no hay una guía específica. La investigación sobre el autismo ha sido una prioridad máxima en los últimos 10 años, considerado por muchos como una epidemia que afecta principalmente a nuestros niños y al futuro de la sociedad.
Mi trabajo como madre ha sido tratar de encontrar formas de aumentar su potencial y bienestar. Todos estos años, he sido diligente con terapias y diferentes especialistas, pero nunca dejé de investigar, estudiar y observar a amigos en la comunidad.
Después de todos estos años, finalmente estoy lista y he diseñado un plan de cuidados para ellos que estoy segura que cambiará su vida y también la nuestra como familia. Lamentablemente, la mayoría de estas soluciones más naturales y sin medicamentos no están cubiertas por los seguros. Vivimos en una sociedad en la que la única atención médica aceptable es la que se brinda a través de medicamentos, pero no se centra en la raíz del problema, el cuerpo, la mente y el alma en su conjunto.
Mi plan incluye quiropráctico, medicina funcional y técnicas de estimulación cerebral.
