Help Support Olga’s Recovery After a Stroke

On Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, our beloved mom, Olga Gonzalez De la Riva, suffered a stroke that has profoundly changed her life. The stroke has affected her speech and the mobility of the right side of her body, leaving her unable to work and taking away much of her independence.

Olga now faces a long road to recovery that includes physical therapy to help her regain movement, speech therapy, and ongoing medical care. In addition, we are working to relocate her out of state so she can live with her daughter and receive the daily support she needs during this difficult transition.

Anyone who knows our mom knows her incredible strength and generosity. Despite facing many obstacles throughout her life, Olga has always moved forward with a smile and a positive spirit. She’s the kind of person who puts others first — whether it’s cooking a meal, helping around the house, or simply offering kindness and comfort to those around her. She has a soft spot for animals (especially her cats!) and loves to dance whenever she gets the chance.

We, her three daughters, are organizing this fundraiser to help cover the costs of her aftercare, rehabilitation, and relocation expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in helping our mom on her road to recovery and stability.
