Support Olga's Journey to Puerto Vallarta

Hi my name is Olga Lidia and I was deported from the United States to Mexico on Christmas Eve 2024. I migrated to the US with my family at the age of 5 and I lived in the United States since then.

I'm a single mother of 3, and have been doing my best to adapt to life here to be able to keep my family together.

Currently, I am living in a small town outside of Oaxaca City with 2 of my 3 children ages 6 and 14. My oldest child is still in the US and I am working to be able to reunite my family in Mexico.

This has been a difficult adjustment for me and my children, but I am doing my best. I currently work selling food on the weekends and bring in about $87 USD a week. I have recently began to create content on TikTok and that helps a little but it’s not something that is consistent or I can heavily rely on .

Recently I have found the need to venture out to a bigger city to seek more opportunities for my children and I, life in our small town has been very difficult to adapt to . My daughter has to travel to a nearby town just to attend school and my employment opportunities are very limited.

With your help, I plan to relocate my children and I to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco where my English will give me opportunities for employment in the tourist sector and bring me closer to other deportees to be closer to a network and community for others like me.

My plan is to fly to Puerto Vallarta and rent a temporary airbnb for 2 weeks to give me time to hunt for something more permanent and economic.

My goal is to raise enough funds to cover my transportation and lodging and basic necessities for the first 6 months for me and my 2 children.
