We're excited to share with you all that we are mounting "God of Carnage" by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton. We are set to open Sep. 13 and run through to Oct. 13, at 905 Cole Theatre here in our city of angels.

This was born out of a need to connect when the world was in lockdown. We got together to read the play casually, however many years ago, because we were starved for community, great writing and art; this play sustained us. We said if we were to return to "normal" we would share this play with others. And here we are.

The play: Two sets of parents meet for the first time, following a physical altercation between their sons, resulting in two broken teeth. What would you do if this were your son? It is a microcosm of what is happening all over the world today and how we deal, or not deal, with conflict. Written almost twenty years ago, this tragicomedy is timelier than ever and begs the question who are we? As a species, in relation to one another, who we present ourselves to be as we move through the world, versus who we really are.

This a bare bones passion driven project, that being said, we still need help lifting it off the ground. We are fronting the cost and with your support you can help us offset some of the basic expenses that go into producing a play; theatre rental, copyright of the play, set costs, lighting and sound designers, stage manager, box office and publicity. Our goal is to raise $8000. No amount is too small. Please share the link with friends and help us get the word out in order to reach our goal.
