Help Oleksandr with medical cost after vicious hockey attack
Donation protected

As a hockey player one of the worst things that can happen is an injury on the ice. Our billet son, Oleksandr (age 19) came to Seattle from the Ukraine to play junior hockey on the Seattle Totems. He is on an exchange from Ukraine and is chasing his hockey dreams in the USA as war-torn Ukraine is not a good option at the moment. His team made it to round 2 of playoffs, one step away from qualifying for the National tournament. While in the championship round of playoffs Oleksandr was hit in the face by the stick of a player on the opposing team. Oleksandr was immediately knocked out from the stick swing to his face and fell onto the ice face first. This resulted in a 2" gash under his eye, broken nose, bruises and lacerations on his face leading to an emergency room visit. I am hoping to raise funds to help with his medical expenses and extended stay here in the USA as he is unable to return to Ukraine until the injuries to his face have healed.
