Help Our Father, Oleksandr Bolbirer, Protect His Family and Continue His Missions in Ukraine
Hi everyone,
Our names are Steven and Michael Bolbirer, and we are writing to you as the proud sons of our father, Oleksandr Bolbirer. Many of you know him from Voice from Ukraine, where he has shared the truth of what is happening on the ground during this terrible war. But we want to tell you who our father really is, and why we are asking for your help today.
In 2012, our father traveled to Ukraine for business. Then in 2014, when the Maidan uprising and Russia’s invasion began, he made a choice: he stayed. He stayed to stand with the people of Ukraine, to help in any way he could.
Our father is not a soldier or a politician. He was a businessman. But when the full-scale invasion began in 2022, he transformed into something more—a lifeline. He put on body armor, loaded his car with food, medicine, and supplies, and drove into front-line cities and villages where most people would not dare to go.
There were times when we wouldn’t hear from him for days. Times we sat by the phone, wondering if that silence meant he would never come home. That is the kind of risk he has taken again and again—because he believes that if he doesn’t go, who will?
But now, our father needs help. The bombing near his home has become relentless. He is being forced to move his family—our younger sister and his wife—to a safer place. At the same time, he is determined to continue his missions helping families who have lost everything. He is carrying the weight of trying to keep his family safe while still delivering aid to those who need it most. No one man should have to carry that burden alone.
That’s why we are asking you, from the bottom of our hearts, to support our father. Every contribution will help him relocate his family to safety, keep them alive through this storm, and allow him to continue his missions delivering aid and truth from Ukraine.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, your prayers, and your support. It means more to us—and to our father—than words can ever say.
With gratitude,
Steven and Michael Bolbirer
