My name is Oleg, and I work as a car hauler truck driver in California. On February 24, 2026, while on duty and performing my job responsibilities, I stopped my truck on the shoulder to secure a loading ramp on my trailer. While I was standing behind my trailer during this work activity, another vehicle crashed into me from behind at high speed. As a result of this impact, I suffered a severe open fracture to my leg and other traumatic injuries. I was immediately transported to the hospital and now require emergency surgery followed by a long and difficult recovery process. Doctors have informed me that I may be unable to work for an extended period of time.

As a truck driver, I am the primary provider for my family, including my wife and young child. This sudden injury has left me unable to work and facing mounting medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and basic living expenses during recovery. The funds raised will go toward emergency surgery and hospital bills, physical therapy and rehabilitation, daily living expenses while I am unable to work, and ongoing medical care if needed.
