Ola's story:

Hello my dear friends. We are a family of seven, including my little daughter Aya. We are in the north and we have never left for the south. We are steadfast there, and we are dying of hunger and terror from the ground occupation and the Zіоոіst bombing that has never stopped. My friends, we had a very beautiful and dignified life. We were living in a warm house where we made our memories and achieved our dreams. But October 7th came and turned our lives into hell. From that day, the journey of suffering, hunger, displacement and loss began.

We slept with our children's stomachs hungry and empty. I cried a lot at night because I forced my children to go to sleep hungry, but it was not my fault. We were forced by the hunger and humiliation to eat pigeon corn and animal barley. The bombing was over our heads, and we did not know the taste of sleep for 11 months. We were displaced over and over under the bombing and fire. We lived days that resembled the horrors of the Day of Judgment.

We slept in the street while dying of hunger, looking at the vegetables and fruits. We almost forgot what they looked like. I have my family, including my little daughter, who needs milk to grow up, and I cannot always provide it for her. I always go out alone to the market to provide food for my children, but I come home very sad that, because of the high prices, I cannot buy anything. We have now forgotten what meat, vegetables, fruits, and juice are. No matter how much I write or say, I cannot empty myself of the oppression, sadness and deprivation in my heart.
