As you may or may not know my older brother Olaf has been battling stomach issues since October 2020. Early May of 2021 he was and continued doctoring to figure out why he was always feeling so crummy. The CT at that time showed nothing (noticeably) out of order or suspicious in the scan, fast forward to September 8th, 2021 and I brought him for his long awaited and prepped for Colonoscopy in Fargo....the results they handed us that day said "Diagnosis- likely malignant partially obstructing tumor in distal rectum. Biopsied" Since then Olaf has gotten the results of the biopsy confirming rectal cancer. After getting that first diagnosis (as I'm sure only a select few with a membership in an unwanted club can fully understand) He has been overwhelmed to say the least. He is well loved, he is a Son, Brother, dad, uncle and friend. He is dedicated to his Job at the CBHH as an MHPA with the State of Minnesota and has worked through misery for at least the last 10 months because that is his work ethic! He has two teenage daughters that mean the world to him. He has been off of work since the 12th of September for many appointments, scans, tests etc. and as you can well imagine.....the bills are already coming in and the last hourly check has come.....none the less Olaf has at least 6-8 weeks of Radiation/Chemotherapy (Starting this next week ) then with a break to help him recover from the Radiation/chemotherapy will have surgery to remove the tumor. Likely after that it will be several more weeks of Radiation/chemotherapy until the doctors can be sure the cancer is gone....and we are fully believing that the God that made each one of us and knows us so well, so well that he can count each and every hair on our head and  NOTHING is out of his reach that Olaf will be healed fully and perfectly!!!!
