Ojas is a devoted husband and father who came to the US from India in 2018 to earn his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M. He’s built a life as a distinguished energy systems consultant, a loving partner to Jessica, and a hands-on dad to Neil (5 weeks), Nora (19 months), and Owen (8). Ojas is known for his kindness, brilliance, and the warmth he brings to his family—whether he’s building a flower box for Jessica or making pancakes for Owen’s birthday guests. He’s the heart of his home, always striving for his family’s happiness and future.

Recently, Ojas suffered a massive stroke at just 29 years old. What was first thought to be a seizure turned out to be a life-altering event, leaving him with profound left-side paralysis and confusion. Despite being healthy and active, he now faces brain swelling, a hemi craniectomy, and a long road of hospitalization, rehabilitation, and constant neurological monitoring. Jessica, only weeks postpartum, has been by his side every moment, while Ojas’s parents travel from India and neighbors step in to help with childcare. The family is now facing overwhelming medical bills, the need for in-home medical equipment, therapy, transportation, and the loss of Ojas’s income.

Their greatest hope is to bring Ojas home, where he belongs—with his wife and children.
