It is with deep sadness that we share the news that our brother in blue, Officer Shawn Tyson, has lost his beloved father, Alan Tyson. As an only child, Shawn is grieving this tremendous loss alongside his wife and two children. His father was not only his biggest supporter but also his best friend.

The pain of losing a father is one of life’s deepest wounds it can feel as though a part of you is missing. We all know Officer Tyson as the one who brings laughter, light, and warmth wherever he goes the joker, the life of the party, and someone with a heart of gold.
