Help Support Officer Schultz and His Family
Officer Eric Schultz has proudly served the City of Hico as a dedicated police officer, protecting and serving his community with honor. Beyond his badge, Eric is a devoted husband and father. His wife, a full-time homemaker, cares for their home and homeschools their two youngest boys while supporting their oldest son through Hico High School. Together, they are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first baby girl in just a few short weeks.
When Eric is not on duty, he works multiple off-duty jobs to provide for his family and manages his family’s small ranch just north of town—a piece of land started by his grandfather nearly 50 years ago.
Recently, while heading to an off-duty shift, Eric became suddenly and severely ill. He drove himself to the ER, where doctors discovered he had developed sepsis. The infection progressed rapidly, and he had to be admitted to the ICU for life-saving treatment.
Eric is the sole provider for his family. With him unable to work, his wife and children now face tremendous uncertainty at a time when they should be preparing to welcome new life into their home.
This is where we, as a community, can step in. Eric has given his strength, his time, and his heart to keep Hico safe. Now, he needs us. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden on his family so they can focus on what matters most: Eric’s recovery and the safe arrival of their baby girl.
Please consider donating to help Officer Schultz and his family through this difficult time. If you are unable to give, your prayers and shares of this campaign are just as valuable.
Let’s rally together for one of our own—a protector, a husband, a father, and a true family man.
