My name is Emma Ridley. On June 24th my Husband, Officer Levi Ridley was shot in the line of duty. He is home at this time, but we are starting this gofundme in preparation for the counseling, and time off work. Medical bills will be cover by workmens comp, but we are unsure how long it will take for Levi to be able to work again. We would really appreciate any help that could be given, in addition to the workers comp and prayers. We are extremely grateful for the support we have received thouth far.

Update: originally when setting this up, the website had me have a "start goal". Now the reasoning the website gave makes sense, "a smaller goal seems more achievable encouraging people to donate more." But upon thinking about it, it felt dishonest to me.
