We are very blessed to have Officer Leslie Coppock, the best School Resource Officer, at our school! She is always busy keeping us safe. As a former deputy, police officer, and AEMT, she is used to taking care of others.

In the spring of 2024, her mom, Kathy, was diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer. While she was clear after 3 months, at the 6-month mark, it had spread to her liver. After enduring chemo and radiation bravely, she now has cancer in her liver, lymph nodes, lungs, and spine. Officer Leslie takes her to every appointment and has missed a tremendous amount of work since the onset of her mother's cancer in 2024. Medical treatment is not cheap, especially with them travelling back and forth to UAB each time.

Unfortunately, Officer Leslie's mom, Kathy, doesn't have burial insurance. Cancer and the toll it takes on family members is devastating enough to endure without having to worry about the cost of missing work, medical bills, and burial costs.

Officer Leslie is very much accustomed to taking care of others. During this time, we ask that you help us take care of her and her sweet Mom, Kathy. No one deserves to go through this alone. Thank you all for your prayers and any help you may be able to share.
