Support Officer Eric's Road to Recovery

Update: Eric has started physical therapy and is still in A LOT of pain as you can imagine. He has a Long road ahead of him before his next surgery. We want to thank everyone for your on going support for Bruno!

I’m Eric’s aunt Jennifer and I’m organizing this go fund me for Eric. Eric has been a Detroit Police Officer since 2016 and before that he worked as an EMT for Detroit Fire Department for almost 2 years. He goes above and beyond for everyone specially for his city that he serves. Eric has received many awards including Medal of Valor, Eric was one of five officers that were voted “Top Cops” in the whole state of Michigan. He was flown to Washington DC where he received his Top Cops Award. Eric needs our help! He was in a terrible motorcycle accident on June 27th 2024. He has had many surgeries since including a pelvis reconstruction, a hip replacement, a broken femur in which he had to have a metal rod put in, a knee surgery where his knee was shattered and broken in three different places, he has multiple tears in the left knee and he also lost some of his pinky finger on his right hand. I started this for him so we can lighten the load for him a bit so he can focus on getting better and recovery instead of stressing about medical bills. This will be a long journey of physical therapy, but I know in my heart he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to. We are all so proud of him. Thank you for taking time out to read his story.
