On the evening of Sunday, November 2nd, Officer Elyse Hand was injured in the line of duty when she sustained a gunshot wound during an encounter with a suspect. She was airlifted to a Tyler hospital, where she underwent surgery and is now in stable condition.

Elyse has dedicated her career to protecting and serving her community. Now, she and her family need our support as she begins the long road to recovery.

Elyse is married to Trooper Keaton Hand, and together they share a young child who adores their brave, loving mom. While we are so grateful that Elyse is stable, her recovery will take time, and with that comes medical expenses, travel costs, and a loss of income as she heals.
