Anyone who knows me or my family knows what Ofelia Giselle Torres meant to all of us. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting Ofelia and her parents also knew the kind of exceptional little person she grew to become. As many of you know, Ofelia had bravely been in a strong, gruesome battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS), which, like many people, I wasn’t aware of until I sadly found out she was diagnosed. RMS is a rare, highly malignant soft tissue cancer originating in immature muscle cells, primarily affecting children and teens.

Sadly, Ofelia has passed, and she leaves behind an entire community and family that rallied behind her. This GoFundMe is in support of her funeral costs.
