Zenobia, a resident of Altadena for 48 years, has lived in her home on Santa Anita Ave for 45 years. She raised her daughters in this beloved home and has woven herself into the fabric of the community, helping to build its Black history in the process. The Eaton Fire was absolutely devastating but we are blessed that Zenobia evacuated safely. The pain of losing her community, her home, decades of precious history, and cherished memories will linger, but Zenobia’s strength and unwavering commitment to shaping a strong legacy and preserving community remain steadfast.

We thank those who have already provided or offered support. The outpouring of kindness she has received has been beyond heartening. We have created this space to surround Zenobia with the support, encouragement, and gifts of kindness she will need immediately and in the months to come.
