Hi! My name is Alyson Finch, and I am behind the Justice for Camille Movement. On August 14, 2022, my cousin, Camille Angelle, was found deceased in a drainage ditch. She was the hit-and-run victim and died from drowning in the ditch, not from any injuries from the impact. The sole purpose of our community effort is to remind people that Camille is the victim. She is no longer with us and, as a result, has no voice of her own. Our Justice For Camille Movement is a combined effort to use our family’s heart, soul, passion and persistence to remind our community that victims deserve to be heard. The Justice For Camille Movement is not an attack on any person or persons but the positive advocation of victims' rights and unwavering and committed focus on ensuring the proper execution of justice. Finally, we are focused on an active push to remind Acadiana, law enforcement and the judiciary system of the importance of fighting for victims with no voice and ensuring they are heard. Your generous donations will help us continue this movement. For confirmation and validity of this fundraiser, please contact Alyson Finch directly. We thank you for your support, whether personally or anonymously! #JusticeForCamille
