Support Ocular Melanoma Research in Melissa's Honor
Donation protected
Ocular melanoma is a rare and aggressive cancer that desperately needs more research, resources, and attention. For our family, this battle became personal when our beloved mother, Melissa Jeane Duncan Smith, was diagnosed in 2018 and given just six months to live. Instead, through her relentless strength and the extraordinary care she received at the MGH Melanoma Center, Melissa lived seven more years filled with love, courage, and grace.
The team at Massachusetts General Hospital provided cutting-edge treatment and unwavering support, giving us precious time and hope.
In Melissa’s honor, we have established the Melissa Jeane Duncan Smith Memorial Fund, which will support critical ocular melanoma research and provide much-needed financial assistance for families who, like ours, must travel out of state to receive life-saving cancer care at MGH. This fund is not only a tribute to Melissa’s legacy of resilience and love—but a lifeline for others still fighting.
Please join us in honoring our mother.
Love,
Tim, Jordan, Phil, Hayley, and Logan
