Ocho has been hospitalized since Tuesday. This morning I got the call every pet parent never wants to get, that being he needs obstruction surgery. They believe he ate something that is now hurting his insides and the only option now is surgery to save his life.

As many of you know, I didn’t just adopt Ocho. I took him in the day one of my very close friends passed away from suicide. He was their emotional support animal, and from that day forward, he became mine too. He’s been with me through some of the hardest moments of my life! He gives constant love, comfort and sweetness! If you’ve ever met him, you know he’s the gentlest, chunkiest little peach who lives for extra snacks and cuddles.

His surgery alone is estimated around $2,000, but on top of it he has the hospital stay, scans and bloodwork. He’s already been there since Tuesday, and they don’t know when he’ll be able to come home. Every day adds to the cost, and the total is climbing fast.

I know times are tough for everyone right now. Truly. So if you’re able to help in any amount I am endlessly grateful. And if you can’t, I still appreciate your love and support in simply caring about Ocho and our story! After all, I constantly joke about how my Instagram story is a fan page for him. Lol
